Our mattress reviews
Buying a mattress is a very important decision for your overall well-being, probably much more so than you would ever realize. If you buy a bad mattress, you’ll get poor sleep and possibly even injure yourself. When you get bad sleep, you are much more irritable during the day and you will not perform as well at work as you should. Bad sleep can have truly detrimental effects on your life.
For these reasons, it’s important that you make the right decision when you buy a mattress. When most people need a mattress, they find the nearest mattress store, go there one day, talk to one of the salespeople, and let that person tell them which mattress is best for them. What they don’t realize is that the salesperson might get a special commission for pushing certain mattresses over others. What’s more, trying out a mattress briefly at a store isn’t a good indicator of how you will like a mattress over time. The salesperson will not be able to quickly decide the perfect mattress for you based on a quick conversation. I do not recommend following this method to get your next mattress.
What I would recommend is empowering yourself with knowledge and making the decision on your own. There is more than enough information out there to help you make the best decision for you. You should be able to analyze your individual needs and assess which type of mattress would be best for you. From there, you should be able to identify the best brands that fit your needs and are still within your budget.
Here’s how I would go about trying to find the right mattress for you:
Where does Mattress Clarity come in with all of this? Well, probably towards the end of the list I just made. We provide the most straightforward and to-the-point mattress reviews out there. I will personal experience with the mattress in question, but I will also speak with a large number of other people who have experience with the mattress too. Based on that, and from doing a full vetting of all the other reviews available online, we try to highlight what type of sleep would like the mattress, and what about the mattress may make some people want to think twice.
We understand that it can be boring to read a bunch of mattress reviews. That’s why we tried to make ours as succinct as possible and only go over what actually matters to consumers. We don’t want to just regurgitate what’s easily available to read on a company’s website. We want to provide tangible information that can actually really help someone make a decision.
Go through our mattress reviews and empower yourself to know as much as possible about the product that you are about to buy as you can. As always, reach out to us if you have any specific questions.

Here’s how I would go about trying to find the right mattress for you:
- Decide what your budget is. Keep in mind that some mattresses last much longer than others, so the value you get can really vary depending on how long you intend to use the mattress you are about to buy.
- Figure out what type of sleeper you are. Do you like to sleep on your side or your back? Both?
- Do you have any special health issues? If so, analyze what they are. Specifically, if you have back trouble, then you will want to look at a specific type of firmness in a mattress to address it the best.
- Once you have done this, start reading the mattress blogs to figure out which mattress brands might be the best fit for you. Try to narrow down your list to 3-4.
- Read as many reviews of the brands on your list to get a consensus on whether you think you will like the mattress. I wouldn't just read one or two reviews. People's preferences vary pretty drastically, so you shouldn't rely on just one person's opinion.
- Made the decision and be confident that you made the right choice.
